Perception 02:59
Derived demand of love and pain A recognition of public hate A scream rings out in to the air She smiles and shakes out her hair I want it (a love of age) I need it ( a rage of name) I want it ( a seam so tame) I need... The user takes all he needs Without thought or self esteem A social need for human skin The flesh is weak and full of sin (you cannot win) I can see and feel all that's true I realize pain, it's all from you You are the bitch that brought me to hell I watched our parting as I fell I step back (and I leave you there) I'll not return (until the end) I hate you (for all this pain) I need love...

Seizure 03:13
I see your heart and I see your smile I feel the love you hold inside Your body talks, next to mine Your mind wanders, probing time Pillars of stone encircle my thoughts A chance to give, another lost I find this time I'm not alone The building shatters, my new home It's the seizure within my soul My body conquers, I'm not alone Feelings crumbled, in a broken dome This is the seizure of a calming storm I see the pain you hold inside Trust in me and you will find A friend in need, a friend in deed Someone to love and one to hold This is the beginning of my final end The opening chapter of all I know My past's not dead, it's turned to stone With this optional music for voice and piano It's the seizure within my soul My body conquers, I'm not alone Feelings crumbled, in a broken dome This is the seizure of a calming storm

Failure 05:01

about

These songs have been a long time emerging. Perception and Seizure were both originally written between 1993 and 1995 and have spent 5 years in various states of being recorded before this first Oblician release in 2020. I should have called the EP 'Procrastination'. Two songs are covers by two of my favorite artists and friends.
